Jon Voight and his daughter, Angelina Jolie, have been partially estranged for some time, but following the news – see below – that Brad’s gone to France alone, it seems Angelina has reopened the communication with her dad to “cry on his shoulder” over her failing relationship.

In Touch Weekly reckon that after having a “heated argument” with Angelina Jolie shortly before Easter, Brad flew to Marseilles alone.

“What could he be doing in France that’s so important that he couldn’t be with his kids?” an airport employee told the magazine. Miknd you own chuffin’ business would’ve been my reply…

In Touch magazine reports that when Angelina Jolie insisted she wanted to adopt another child from Ethiopia this year, Brad was adamant that they would not.

“Angelina was furious,” a friend told the magazine. “She told Brad he had no right to tell her she can’t add to her family and that she will adopt again – with or without his permission.”

Brad apparently believes that adding more kids to their already huge family “would be crazy”

A source close who claims to be close to the couple has told America’s OK! magazine that although Angelina is keen have more kids – they already have six – Brad actor wants them to marry first.

Variety magazine has announced that Paramount Pictures has teamed up Brad Pitt and Natalie Portman to star in a film based on the new Leanne Shapton book “Important Artifacts and Personal Property from the Collection of Lenore Doolan and Harold Morris, Including Books, Street Fashion, and Jewelry” – let’s hope they shorten the title!

Paramount apparently won an auction for the book rights on Tuesday night. Variety states, “The book takes the form of Sotheby’s-like estate auction catalog, with 325 entries and photographs depicting items that reveal the private moments and the rise and fall of a four-year relationship between the fictitious couple Hal Morris, a 40ish photographer and Lenore Doolan, a New York Times food columnist in her late 20s…” Read more & comment »

Jennifer Aniston’s recent meeting with ex-hubby Brad Pitt seems to have had a “profoundly peaceful” effect on her.

The day after their first post-divorce meeing at the 81st Academy Awards – after four years of making a point of NOT meeting up – the actress told OK! that the “critics are all wrong”.

“I am totally over Brad,” she told the magazine.

In fact, Jen says she’s “completely dedicated” to her on-off lover John Mayer, and she insists she’s a fan of his music to boot…

“John just wants to play the guitar,” she said, adding,

“I deeply, deeply care about him.

“We adore one another. And that’s where it is.”

So there we are. Do you believe a word of it? I don’t!

As I’m sure you’re aware, the UK version of OK! magazine’s latest cover will feature the wedding of Jade Goody and Jack Tweed, however, as Jade is less well known in America, their version is carrying a picture of Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston with speculation that she is still very much in love with her ex-husband.

After four years of not meeting, Brad’s new love and mother of his children Angelina Jolie finally met up with his ex Jen at the Academy awards.
