As X Factor and Girl’s Aloud star Cheryl Cole, Denise Van Outen and the rest of the fundraising team of celebrities continued their gruelling trek up Tanzania’s Mt Kilimanjaro, Cheryl was apparently “finding it tough”, particularly after hearing the news that her husband, Ashley Cole had been arrestef following a night out.

ITN is reporting that Fearne Cotton collapsed during the Comic Relief Killimanjaro climb.
It had been already been reported that Fearne was suffering nosebleeds as the nine-strong team of celebs struggled to reach the summit in aid of the charity.
Alesha Dixon and Denise Van Outen have both had quite bad falls during the climb and Gary Barlow has complained of continuing back pain.
The group are being “spurred on” by public donations amounting to more than £580,000 but given the number of injuries they’re suffering, personally, I think the whole thing should be called off before – God forbid – someone dies up there.

BANG International is reporting today that X Factor judge and Girl’s Aloud band member Cheryl Cole “broke down in tears” during the trek up Mount Kilimanjaro yesterday.

Cheryl’s quoted as saying, “He looked really scared. It shook us up.
“You feel strange at this altitude anyway. I started wondering if I was suffering too – but I’m alright and we’ve got each other to help us get through and hopefully get all the way to the top.”
So far, none of the celebrities have suffered with altitude sickness but they have been suffering with a variety of other ailments… Read more & comment »

In a bid to raise money for Comic Relief, a variety of celebs are climbing Mount Kilimanjaro and Alesha Dixon has become the first of them – though probably not the last – to “take a tumble” during their climb.
The star was reportedly “answering the call of nature” behind a bushe when she apparently slipped and fell several yards down what was described by the PA as “a steep ledge”.
Despite initial fears that she’d been badly hurt, apparently she came out of her ordeal laughing about the incident… Read more & comment »
